Hi, they call me Peggy
I was a childcare teacher for 11 years and now I'm a nanny/teacher. I'm also a publish author of many children books. Working with children is not a bad thing knowing that you have given it your all. It takes the power of love to work with children. I hope that someone out here, understand what I'm saying about being a nanny.
Great job to have.

Hi Peggy,

I do understand what it is you are saying , it is very simple and is the truth. I have also been a childcare teacher for 11 years,.I very much enjoy having enough love to go around and to be able to take care of myself now too, I am 56 years old and need to do that Wink. I live in Washington state, USA.
I am glad I have this site since I do have questions and could use some creative suggestions. Was wondering what you think is the most challenging aspect of the job. I am trying to find the balance without being manipulated by the bored nine year old with control issues and is bored and angry. I doubt I will ever get her respesct and will not seek it. I am looking at the behavior chart ideas, earning rewards. Keeping the peace between her and a brother who is six years younger is going to require some creative solutions.

Brainstorming with someone who has lots of experience- any ideas?
Thanks, Carriope
